This past weekend I was invited to camp in Denali NP, although fearful of bear attack I took the chance. The colors are changing up here, well were, and the contrast between green, yellow, and purple was impressive inside Denali. Every year the park holds a lottery and allows people to drive their personal vehicles into the park for four days. My landlord was lucky enough to win and gracious enough to invite me along with his gi

rlfriend and a buddy of his. The picture to the right was taken on our way home. We made a stop for breakfast at a
road side overlook, broke out the Coleman stove and this was our view. It was a rainy weekend so the pictures from within the park are lacking, at least compared to what I was seeing in person. One

thing that really stood out was the sheer size of everything around me. At no point did we actually see Denali from within the park but a considerable amount peaks and hilltops were in sight. We constantly looked for wildlife and we caught the big four, Bear, Dall Sheep, Moose and Caribou. More often then not they were a small blur in the distance so my camera and binoculars came in handy. I was able to snap a few so here are

the

best of the best...Dall Sheep, Grizz in the bush, Bull Moose, and Caribou. Kinda blurry my apologizes.

Below and to the left are some more pics
from the trip. It's been a few days and I'm still coming to grips with the trip, it was definitely a great

experience.
